How to Get the Right Sage50 Reports

You can import Sage50 (Formerly Peachtree)Trial Balances into Tallyfor. 

1. Export 2 reports as Excel.

Tallyfor requires a pair of reports, 1) The "Trial Balance" and 2) the "Chart of Accounts Listing" report. Both are found in Sage50 Reports menu.

DO NOT use the PDF version, or CSV versions of the reports.

2.  Delete the total line on the Trial Balance. (We will automate the removal of the total row in the future.)

3. Import files into Tallyfor

Now that you have the right reports, In the MENU section of Tallyfor, click on the Sage50 tab.  You have the option of picking the End date of the report. Then locate and select each file.  Finally, click "Import Sage50 files".
