First Time Set Up for Lacerte

In Lacerte you need set up a Mapping Profile.

** This only needs to be done once for the lifetime of that Lacerte desktop install.

Please have one file downloaded from Tallyfor ready. In this example we will use "2020-Schedule E -V1 MOCK". Any Tallyfor file for Lacerte will be fine.

In Lacerte, go to the Menu Bar, Import/Data Conductor.

Select Profile Manager

Click Add

Select a Tallyfor exported Lacerte File.

Select "Delimited", then click Next

Select Comma, and, Text Qualifier " (Double Quote)

Click Next

Use the right arrow to move fields to "assigned order:" column. Please match the order in the screenshot. Click Next.

Name the profile and then your are done. This profile is now saved for future use.
