You can make three different kinds of JE's:

  • Book

  • Reclass

They will show on their own columns on the Trial Balance Report.

Key Features:

  • Unlimited lines

  • Ability to Name the JE

  • Memo

  • Off by amount

  • Out of balance warning

  • Data validation for Memo, Account and Zero Balances

    • These items need to be completed to post back to your General Ledger.

All Journal Entry’s List

If you are viewing an individual JE, you can go back to “All JE’s list” by clicking the Left-pointing chevron.

Delete JE’s and Delete Line

Copy and Reverse Copy

Clicking "Copy" will make a New JE with the same information. The Memo will be appended with "Copy", the Date of the Copy and who generated the Copy. We show the original JE and the Copy together.

Clicking "Reverse Copy" will make a New JE with the debit and credits swapped. The Memo will be appended with "Reversed Copy", the Date of the Reversed Copy and who generated the Copy. We show the original JE and the Copy together.

You can make a Copy of a Copy, but you must do this from the Copy directly.

Pro Tip: Out of Balance Warning - shows an individual, out of balance, JE or in total and on TB total. An out of balance warning doesn't prevent you from proceeding, it is just a visual warning.
