Connect more than one sign-in provider to your Tallyfor account so you can log in with Google, Microsoft, Xero, or Intuit (QuickBooks) — and switch between them without losing access.
What it does
From your account menu you can link additional login providers to a single Tallyfor account and unlink ones you no longer use. This lets you and your firm standardize on a sign-in method or move between them smoothly.
Availability: Provider linking is available to all Tallyfor users — there's nothing to enable.
Linking a provider
Click your avatar in the top-right corner to open the account menu.
Find the Link Provider section.
Choose a provider: Google, Microsoft, Xero, or Intuit (QuickBooks).
Complete the sign-in/authorization flow for that provider.
The provider now shows as linked on your account.
Note: Xero and Intuit can't both be linked at the same time. You can link one or the other.
Unlinking a provider
Open the account menu and find the Unlink Provider section (it appears when two or more providers are linked).
Click the provider you want to remove.
You must keep at least one provider connected so you can still sign in.
Single sign-on (SSO)
